General Information
    • UTern is an Internship & Entry Level Job Recruitment platform. We linked up both Employer and Job Seeker by offering different types of jobs towards Job Seekers.
    • For Job Seeker: It is a Totally-Free usage as a Job Seeker.
    • For Employer: You’ll enjoy a Lifetime Free Job Posting; Hiring Interns with UTern is totally free !
    Charges are required if you wish to hire Fresh Talents through UTern.

    • You can visit our UTern website at www.utern.com.my and it is mobile friendly.
    • We will be launching our App in Google Playstore and Apps Store soon. Please stay tuned for it.
    • Employer : Register an employer account -> Post jobs -> Wait for jobseeker to apply -> Hire
    • Jobseeker : Register a jobseeker account -> Search jobs -> Apply job -> Wait for employer to hire

Getting Started

For Job seeker
    • NOTE: Please proceed to Login if you have an existing account at UTern. You are not required to register a new UTERN account.
    • STEP 1
    • Click On Jobseeker Login / Sign Up button
    • STEP 2
    • Click On SignUp for Utern for New Registration of a Job Seeker Account
    • STEP 3
    • Sign Up by Facebook/Google+ (if you do have an account)
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under "Job Seeker Register" page
    • Click On "Create Account" button after you have filled up all fields
    • STEP 4
    • You’ll received the Verification Code from us through SMS
    • Enter the Verification Code
    • Click On "CONTINUE" button
    • STEP 5
    • You are now in the UTern Job Seeker Site

    • STEP 1
    • Click On Job Seeker Login / Signup
    • If you are Employer kindly click on the Employer Login / Signup
    • STEP 2
    • Click On "Forgot Password"
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly enter your Mobile Number / Email Address
    • Next, click Reset Your Password button
    • STEP 4
    • A Password Recovery Link will sent to you through SMS OR
    • A Password Recovery Email will sent to your email inbox
    • STEP 5
    • Click the "RESET PASSWORD LINK" and enter your New Password. Then Confirm the New Password once again
    • STEP 6
    • Click on Submit To Reset Password. And now, your password has been successfully reset.

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Job Seeker Account, the search bar is located at the top of the website.
    • STEP 2
    • You can now search your desire Jobs or Location by using the Search "Keyword" and "Location" Bar
    • STEP 3
    • To narrow your search , you can click the Filter button and check your desire Job Industries or Salary range, then click "Done" button

    • STEP 1
    • After login as a Job Seeker, you will see list of job(s) posted by various employers
    • Select your desire job and click "Apply Now" button to view the job's details
    • STEP 2
    • Before apply the job, kindly fill up all the information in these section: About me, Language, Education, Working experience(optional), and Upload Profile Photo ( to boost your hiring success rate )
    • Ensure you fulfill all the requirements for the job
    • You can view all the job description regarding the position you wish to apply
    • Company's details ( contact number & email ) can be seen once the company has unlocked their job
    • STEP 3
    • Click "Apply This Job" button and proceed to checkout page
    • NOTE: Job Seeker must go through an Online Training before applying Job(s)
    • STEP 4
    • Answer all the application questions (if got any)
    • Check the confirmation check box and click "Confirm & Apply Now" button
    • You have now successfully applied the job

    • You will be contacted via several methods:
      • Employer Call-to-Job Seeker directly
      • UTern Messages functions (In-app)
      • Video Interview
      • Email
    • You do not need to pay to get contacted by Employer(s), in fact, we do not charge any cent towards Job Seeker.
    • Job Seekers able to view the Company's Name,logo at the Job's details page
    • Job Seekers able to view the company's contact number and email too at the Job's details page (only after the employer unlock the job)
    • Filter Function: You can search the job available based on your preference
    • Locate Job Nearby: Searching & Finding a job near your location is no longer a problem with UTern
    • 1-Click Apply: Applying Jobs are now way easier with just ONE CLICK.
    • Messages: An In-app functions that enabled you to communicate with your Employers easily.
    • Video Interview: You can now have a Face-to-Face Interview with employer wherever and whenever you are.
    • Procedure 1:
      • Job Seeker apply for job(s)
      • Go through & passed Online Training
      • Job Applied Successfully
    • Procedure 2:
      • Employer will review your job application(s)
      • Employer will Hire you if you are the right candidate by unlocking the job
    • Procedure 3:
      • Job Seeker will received In-app Notifications, or Email Notification, or SMS from UTern
      • YOU ARE HIRED
    • Upload a presentable profile picture of yourself as well as your ID which is mandatory for work.
    • Boost your profile by indicating your job interests and experience. Employers will be able to view your profiles, so do whatever it takes to make your profile stand out from the other UTern applicants.
    • Make sure you match the job requirements set by the employer(s).
    • Make yourself available when there is an interview invitation or phone call interview invitation from employer(s).
    • If you can’t commit to the job applied anymore, kindly cancel the job at My Applications page.
    • If you do not turn up to your pre-schedule interview/job, it will affect your rating in UTern, and might affect your chances in getting hired in the future.

Getting Started

For Employer
    • NOTE: Please proceed to Login if you have an existing account at UTern. You are not required to register a new UTERN account.
    • STEP 1
    • Click On Employer Login / Sign Up button
    • STEP 2
    • Click On SignUp for Utern for New Registration of an Employer Account
    • STEP 3
    • Sign Up by Facebook/Google+ (if you do have an account)
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under "Employer Register" page
    • Click On "Create Account" button after you have filled up all fields
    • STEP 4
    • You’ll received the Verification Code from us through SMS
    • Enter the Verification Code
    • Click On "CONTINUE" button
    • STEP 5
    • You are now in the UTern Employer Site

    • STEP 1
    • Kindly Log In to UTern Employer account, and Click On "About Me"from the Dashboard
    • STEP 2
    • Click On "Edit" and fill up all the Mandatory Fields under "Basic Information"
    • Select "Update" when it is done
    • STEP 3
    • Click On "Company Profile"
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under: "Company Description", "Basic Information", "Contact Information"
    • Select "Update" when it is done (Don’t forget about your Company Logo, too.)
    • Employer is compulsory to upload it's "Company SSM" to entitled a VERIFIED Account with UTern Platform

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Employer Account, and Select the Post New Job button.
    • STEP 2
    • Select the type of job you wish to post, "Internship" OR "Entry Level".
    • STEP 3
    • Enter the job title for your job and select which industry your job is under
    • Next choose types of applicant you are looking for ( Gender and Nationality)
    • Click on the "Continue" button and proceed to next page
    • STEP 4
    • Select the Education level and the types of Language your applicants should possess
    • Click on the "Continue" button and proceed to next page
    • STEP 5
    • Kindly enter the Work Location and select the correspondent work location
    • System will fill up the addresses automatically but if it is not
    • Employer should enter the address and other information manually
    • Click on the "Continue" button and proceed to next page
    • STEP 6
    • Fill up the estimated salary for this job
    • If you have any specific requirements (Skills or Courses), kindly list it down too
    • Click on the "Continue" button and proceed to next page
    • STEP 7
    • To attract more job seekers to apply your job, please write few good reasons why they should join your company at Why Join Us
    • Fill up the basic requirements , your job’s description and benefits (optional)
    • Click on the "Continue" button and proceed to next page
    • STEP 8
    • If you wish know more about the applicants, you can ask few Application Questions ( max 3 questions )
    • NOTE: Please ask questions that can only be answered by YES or NO

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Employer Account, and Select the "Job & Applications" Tab
    • STEP 2
    • Select one of your active job with Uncontacted Applicants and click on it
    • STEP 3
    • This page will shows up all applicants and kindly go through the applicant’s profile
    • You can click on the applicant's profile to view their resume
    • STEP 4
    • For Hiring Interns
    • You are required to unlock the job if you wish to view all those hidden contact information of the applicants.
    • To unlock the job, kindly click "Unlock to Chat" button
    • Select the Confirm button, and now, you can view all the applicants contact
    • STEP 5
    • For Hiring Entry Level Talents
    • You are required to unlock the job if you wish to view all those hidden contact information of the applicants.
    • To unlock the job, kindly click "Unlock to Chat" button
    • Select the Confirm button
    • If you are currently subscribing any packages
    • you should able to unlock the job ( unless you exceed your unlocked job limit )
    • If you are not subscribing any pricing packages, click the "Buy Now" button and you will be redirect to My Wallet page.
    • Choose the package that suits you the best and click subscribe
    • Select the confirm button and proceed to payment
    • STEP 6
    • Fill in all the payment details and select Submit Payment button
    • After payment success, you can view your invoice at Transaction History in My Wallet page and your Order Summary in Order History
    • You are now able to unlock your job(s) and view the contacts of those candidates

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Employer Account, Go To "Job & Applications"
    • On the Right Top Corner of your job posting, Click On "JOB AD"
    • Select "Feature" and click Confirm button
    • STEP 2
    • If you have purchase "Feature Job" features previously
    • Your job posting will now in Feature Mode and will appear at the top of the job listing (last 10 days)
    • Your feature balance for "Feature Job" will be deducted too (-1)
    • STEP 3
    • If you never purchase "Feature Job" features previously
    • You will be redirect to My Wallet page
    • Scroll to the "À la carte" section at the bottom
    • Click "Purchase" button and then select confirm
    • STEP 4
    • Fill in all the payment details and select Submit Payment button
    • After payment success, you can view your invoice at Transaction History in My Wallet page and your Order Summary in Order History
    • You are now able to Feature your job posting

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Employer Account, Go To "Job & Applications"
    • On the Right Top Corner of your job posting, Click On "JOB AD"
    • Select "Highlight" and click Confirm button
    • STEP 2
    • If you have purchase "Highlight" features previously
    • Your job posting will now in Highlight Mode and the layout of your job posting will change (last 30 days)
    • Your feature balance for "Highlight" will be deducted too (-1)
    • STEP 3
    • If you never purchase "Highlight" features previously
    • You will be redirect to My Wallet page
    • Scroll to the "À la carte" section at the bottom
    • Select the tab with "Highlight"
    • Click "Purchase" button and then select confirm
    • STEP 4
    • Fill in all the payment details and select Submit Payment button
    • After payment success, you can view your invoice at Transaction History in My Wallet page and your Order Summary in Order History
    • You are now able to Highlight your job posting

    • Real Time Matching: We have a pool of job seekers available 24/7. You’ll be instantly connected to the job seekers that match your criteria.
    • Lifetime Free Job Posting: You can post unlimited Jobs and it’s FREE.
    • Real Time Chatting: An In-app functions that enabled you to communicate with your Job Applicants easily.
    • Video Interview: You can now conduct a Face-to-Face Interview by our UTern Video Interview wherever and whenever you are.
    • Instant Broadcast: Broadcast your jobs instantly to nearby UTern job seekers.
    • Talent Search : Search and contact the suitable talents available in our pool of job seekers.
    • PURCHASED CREDITS will not be expired and it will serve as life-time Credits if you are not utilizing any
    • FREE CREDITS will be EXPIRED when you are not utilizing it within 30-days from the date of your Employer Account Created.
    • Once you post a job, your job posting will be expired after 2 month.
    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UTern Employer Account, go to My Wallet page
    • Scroll to the "Talent Search" section at the bottom
    • Choose one of the plan and select purchase
    • Then select the confirm button
    • STEP 2
    • Fill in all the payment details and select Submit Payment button
    • After payment success, you can view your invoice at Transaction History in My Wallet page and your Order Summary in Order History
    • The feature balance will display the number of job seekers you can unlock
    • You are now able to Unlock the job seekers in Talent Search page
    • STEP 3
    • Now go back to the Main Menu, and click on the "Search Talents" button
    • STEP 4
    • Search for your desire candidate from the pool of talents shown
    • You are advise to use the search bar to narrow down your search results
    • STEP 5
    • When you found your desire candidates, click on "Unlock" button
    • You can also shortlist your desire candidates by clicking the "LOVE icon" at the top right of the candidate
    • Now you have shortlisted the candidates and the candidates will be moved to the "Shortlisted" section
    • Now you have unlocked the candidates and the candidates will be moved to the "Unlocked" section
    • STEP 6
    • You can now view the contact of the candidates at "Unlocked" section.
    • For every candidates you unlock, the "Talent Unlock" Balance will deduct by 1

    • STEP 1
    • Click On Employer Login / Sign Up
    • STEP 2
    • Click On "Forgot Password"
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly enter your Mobile Number / Email Address
    • Next, click Reset Your Password button
    • STEP 4
    • A Password Recovery Link will sent to you through SMS OR
    • A Password Recovery Email will sent to your email inbox
    • STEP 5
    • Click the "RESET PASSWORD LINK" and enter your New Password. Then Confirm the New Password once again
    • STEP 6
    • Click on Submit To Reset Password. And now, your password has been successfully reset.

Troubleshoot
    • Please be patient. Employer will get in touch with you in soon manner if they are interested with you once they unlocked the job.
    • Every Job Seeker are required to complete his/her Profile. If your resume is too brief or incomplete, you are not allow to apply jobs.
      ( Because an incomplete profile will affect your chances is getting hire )
    • You will not be able to Apply Job(s) if you does not go thorugh the Online Training Assessment given to you.
    • NOTE: If you are still encountering the same issue while achieving all the scenarios above, please do contact us via Contact Us page
    • Please wait patiently for the job seekers to reply.
    • If the issue still persist, you can review their performance / attitude at Review Applicant page so that others employers will take note of this job seeker.
    • This may be due to the weak reception from Telco in your current location.
    • Kindly click on the Resend Verification Code and our system will generate the latest Verification Code for you.
    • If this issue persist , please contact us via Contact Us page
    • Kindly drop us a message via Contact Us page, our friendly Customer Representative will contact you shortly.
    • An investigation will be taken place before any Refund is necessary.
    • All REFUNDS will be treated as "Credits-Refund" (not-in-cash-term)
Business Support
    • We do concern on your hiring procedures, we are glad to serve you with more value-added Subscription Package to cater for your business needs.
    • Employer can try our "Instant Broadcast" feature to hire applicants easily.
      • STEP 1
      • Log In to UTern Employer Account, go to My Wallet page
      • Scroll to the "À la carte" section at the bottom
      • Select the tab with "Instant Broadcasting"
      • Choose your targeted number of Job Seekers for Instant Broadcasting your job post
      • Then select the Purchase button and click confirm
      • STEP 2
      • Fill in all the payment details and select Submit Payment button
      • After payment success, you can view your invoice at Transaction History in My Wallet page and your Order Summary in Order History
      • You are now able to Instant Broadcast your job posting
      • STEP 3
      • Go to Job & Applications page
      • On the Right Top Corner of your job posting, Click On "JOB AD"
      • Select "Broadcast" and choose the number of Job Seekers for Instant Broadcasting your job post
      • Click "Confirm" button
      • You have now successfully broadcast your job post
      • Your feature balance for "Broadcast" will be deducted too (based on the number of job seekers you have selected)
